Doctor

Dr. Masami Seplow

DVM, CVA. CCRP. CVCH

Masami Seplow was born and raised in Japan and received her bachelor's degree in sociology in Japan, then moved to Miami, FL to obtain her Master's degree in Hospital Management, but decided to be a veterinarian before receiving her degree. She received her degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Florida (Go Gators!). After working as a general practitioner at a 24 hour hospital, Masami Seplow decided to be certified in acupuncture and Chinese medicine, and as been practicing for longer than 15 years.

She received another certification in canine rehabilitation in 2015. She is particularly interested in geriatric medicine and food therapy, in addition to rehab and Chinese medicine, because all of these modalities are positive and gentle. She has two rescued chihuahuas, Ellie and Lucas (and occasional fosters). She also loves cooking and playing music (she used to join the amateur orchestra as a violist).

Cathy is originally from the Fresno area. She graduated from the Western College of Allied Health Career in Sacramento California in 1981 as a Registered Veterinary Technician. She has since worked in daytime practice, emergency medicine, and critical care hospitals. She also was an instructor at San Joaquin Valley College for Veterinary Technician Program for two years, and worked as a surgery coordinator for the Central Valley from 2004 to 2014, coordinating for two Boarded Veterinary Surgeons.

In 2004, she also completed her BA in Management and Organizational Development at Fresno Pacific University. She also completed her certification in Canine Rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee in 2007. Currently, Cathy has been the lead Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner for UC Davis Veterinary Teaching Hospital since May 2014. In August 2015, she lectured for the Veterinary Technician Back to School conference.

Cathy is the mother of three, two of which are in college and youngest is enlisted in the Army. A few of her personal hobbies include pilates, aerobics instruction, and endurance racing. She also enjoys coming home to her two French bulldogs, who keep her very busy.

Megan has been in the veterinary field for 2 years. Prior to the veterinary field she was a guide dog mobility instructor and service dog trainer for 4 years specializing in fear free handling. Her interest in a career in rehabilitation was led by a passion to guide her patients through growth and success. Her goal every day is to cheer on and build relationships with each individual patient and owner.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her senior border collie mix named Roey. Whether you find them on a hike, camping, at a farmers market or comfy at home they are always tied at the hip.

Sabrina S.

Rehabilitation Assistant

Sabrina has loved animals all of her life. She started working for a veterniary hospital and a horse ranch in Las Vegas after she was discharged from the Marine Corps. While she has worked with animals all of her life, she has been professionally taking care of dogs, cats, and horses for 1 year and is continuing to learn. Sabrina is currently going to school at Yuba College for Veterinary Technology and is on track to graduate in 2027.

Outside of work, Sabrina loves to read and lives for crafting of all kinds. She is assisting in training her family's Border Collie puppy, Hank, and hopes to come day act on her knowledge of equine studies. Sabrina is generally new to the area and the practice, but can't wait to get to know you and your pets!
