Doctors

Rebecca Williams

DVM, Medical Director

Dr. Williams completed her undergraduate studies at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a BS in Animal Science. She was accepted into and completed her veterinary medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Williams immediately began to practice veterinary medicine at an emergency hospital in the Bay Area where she gained a vast amount of experience of veterinary emergency medicine. When job opportunities became available, she transitioned to Placer County working general practice and emergency. Her professional interest includes emergency, internal medicine and ophthalmology. Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Williams is kept busy raising her two sons with her high school sweetheart. She enjoys skiing, running, yoga, and spending time with her Australian Shepherd, Comet.

Practice Manager

Wendy Bouma

Practice Manager

With over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field and 8 years in human medicine, Wendy brings a wealth of knowledge and a unique perspective to her role as Practice Manager. She has honed her expertise in general practice, exotics, emergency, and critical care, always prioritizing elevated patient care.

Passionate about teaching and team development, Wendy thrives on building efficient, skilled, and supportive teams that deliver exceptional care. Her dedication to fostering a collaborative and compassionate environment is at the heart of her work.

When not at work, Wendy enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved dogs and cats. She loves exploring the outdoors through hiking, bike rides, and trips to the ocean, as well as relaxing by the
river.

Rose B.

Receptionist

Rose is a receptionist at Sierra Ranch and began her career in the veterinary field in 2024. She is eager to expand her knowledge in general practice and has a particular interest in animal rehabilitation. While pursuing her education, Rose values the opportunity to develop her organizational skills in veterinary medicine, allowing her to enhance both her expertise and dedication to animal care.

Outside of work and school, Rose enjoys learning new things, exploring California’s beaches with her loved ones, and spending time with her polydactyl cat, Chicken.

Sarah I.

Receptionist

Sarah joined the veterinary field in 2020, but has over 10 years experience working with animals in many different settings.
Her love for animals started when she was very young, helping out at a family friend's farm and constantly coming home with stray animals as a child.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with her two tuxedo cats, Merrill and Cheese, traveling, exploring lifestyle medicine to help manage her autoimmune disease, playing video games, and cosplaying.
Sarah also enjoys cooking, baking, gardening, and working on and improving her home.

Patient Liaison

Larissa F.

Patient Liaison

Larissa is a technician in our general practice! You’ll most often see Larissa assisting our doctors with appointments, but you may also catch her working at the front desk or loving on pets in the lobby! Because of her attention to detail and strong communication skills, she took on the task of surgery coordinator.

Larissa has been at SRVC for 10 years and enjoys creating close bonds with our clients and their pets.

Registered Veterinary Technicians

Morgan B.

RVT

Morgan has always had a passion for working with animals. She started working at an emergency vet clinic in her Senior year of high school, as a student intern and was hired after graduating. She continued to improve her skills as a veterinary assistant and moved to the Oncology department, where she developed a love for working closely with patients and clients. Deciding to further her education Morgan started at Carrington College in 2022, graduating in August of 2023. In December she took and passed the VTNE state testing to obtain her RVT license. Since then, Morgan has discovered a passion for dentistry, surgery, and patient care.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time outside gardening, hiking with her dog, and camping with her friends and family. When the weather doesn’t allow Morgan enjoys her free time reading, crafting, painting, and knitting.

Aundie K.

RVT

As an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) with eight years of hands-on experience, Aundie is deeply committed to providing compassionate care to animals. Specializing in dental procedures, she takes great pride in promoting the oral health and overall well-being of every fury patient she treats. With a focus on excellence and a gentle approach, Aundie works to ensure each visit is as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

At home, Aundie shares her life with two sweet and mischievous cats, Tux and Noodle, whose playful antics and snuggles continually fuel her passion for animal care. She is also supported by her husband, Jared, who is her biggest cheerleader in both her personal and professional life.

In her free time, Aundie enjoys immersing herself in a great book, exploring virtual worlds through video games, unleashing her creativity through painting and drawing, or diving into any new crafty project. She looks forward to working with you to help keep your pets happy, healthy, and smiling!

Veterinary Assistant

Kendal is a veterinary assistant who has worked in the veterinary field for nearly 8 years! Kendal loves working at SRVC thanks to our loyal clients, adorable patients, and the amazing, hard-working staff. Kendal has five sweet dogs waiting for her at home!

Jocelyn

Veterinary Assistant

Jocelyn is a veterinary assistant who is passionate about serving her community by helping clients and their pets. Jocelyn recently graduated from UC Davis with an Animal Science degree and is working towards one day opening a clinic with accessible resources. At Davis, Jocelyn was able to work with livestock, travel to assist rescue centers in Costa Rica and Australia, and even lived as an on-site technician with pigs for two years!
When not studying or working towards her goals, Jocelyn is back home with her family either snowboarding or spending the day outside.

Kennel Assistant

Amanda is a devoted Kennel Technician joining Sierra Ranch with a lifelong love for animals. Starting as a high school dog walker and pet sitter, she cared for a diverse range of loved pets, including reptiles and exotics. Working as a dedicated veterinary assistant in a general practice clinic for a year laid the foundation for her journey. She is excited to bring her energetic spirit to Sierra Ranch.

Mireya P.

Kennel Assistant

Mireya is one of our kennel staff who loves to attend and care for our patients here at SRVC. She has been in the vet field for 2 years and has loved every moment of it. She strives to further her career so she can become a RVT and work with exotics and small animals.

She has two adorable corgi mixes at home that root her on every step of the way.
